We’ve built this website for the use of the local communities of Uig and Bernera, including Tir Mor.  It’s therefore really important to us that you all have a say.

We have done all the work on this website for free, and we’re not making any money from it.  We’ve even been incredibly lucky to have received help and support from some amazing individuals and companies to make it all work.  We’re trying our best to provide you with a site that you’ll want to use, and hopefully enjoy. However, sometimes things may go wrong, and so we ask you to bear with us when this happens, but also please do tell us.

We’d also really love you to get involved, whether it’s just a case of telling us how we can improve the website, or of other things you’d like to see included.  It would also be great if some of you felt able to contribute. Maybe you could send in some photos that we could use, or write some pieces. Even if it’s just telling us some news that you’d like us to feature, any help and offers of support would be greatly received.

Likewise, if you’re really struggling with the technology we’re using please do let us know.  We’re happy to help where we can, but it will also be a useful lesson for us to understand how easy, or not, you’re finding the site to use.  We can then make changes accordingly. 

And lastly, we want to remind you that we’re all in this together.  We’re just trying to make it a little easier for our communities to pull together and reach out in such a difficult time.  If you know of someone who you think is struggling, and don’t know what else to do, please do get in touch and we’ll try and put you in touch with someone who might be able to help.  Together we are stronger.
